This is the road that we’re all on, This is the road that we’re all on. You can hear me can’t you son. You understand me don’t you son. This world is gonna break your heart, It’s gonna burn you deep inside. But you’ve gotta carry on, you just gotta carry on. You’ve got the stars in your eyes, you see the sun shining bright. I love you so much I could die, soon we’ll be saying goodbye. And I won’t be round to hold your hand no more. Won’t be singing Galveston, Oh Galveston no more. So many bad roads to walk down, But I must let you walk alone. I’ll be waiting in the wings. Be there to pick up all your things. In black and white it comes to you, You see the things that people do. All piled up like firewood. I was frozen where I stood. But you’ve got a beautiful heart, you’re gonna make a new start, I love you so much I could die, soon we’ll be saying goodbye. And I won’t be round to hold your hand no more. Won’t be singing Galveston, Oh Galveston no more. You’ve got the stars in your eyes, you see the sun shining bright. I love you so much I could die, soon we’ll be saying goodbye. I love you so much I could die, soon we’ll be saying goodbye. I love you so much I could die, soon we’ll be saying goodbye. And I won’t be round to hold your hand no more. Won’t be singing Galveston Oh Galveston no more. No more……(rpt)

Carolina 04:59
Carolina was her name She was drifting like a drunken driver Crossing everybody’s lane Her lines all blurred again She floated on air Never fit in anywhere Spent her cash on her hair Golden highlights everywhere Like the dawn breaking birds She’s just dying to be heard Oh how she burns Carolina Carolina Carolina Did her hair toss Checked her nails Lit up an Alpine On the train in Sunshine Headed for a better town Long legs spray painted brown To sing to the night To the dying of the light To tear out her heart And hurl it at the stars Like the dawn breaking birds She’s just dying to be heard Oh how she burns Carolina Carolina Carolina She came back again But her smile was not the same Chewed her nails on the train ‘cross the endless Western plains Like the dawn breaking birds Still dying to be heard Oh how she burns Carolina Carolina Carolina Ooh ooh ooh ooh ooh

Ghost nets 03:13
Twisting and turning Our hearts were burning We stepped into Each other’s time You were so pretty I was so lonesome Could not get you out of my mind Tangled up like the leaves on the breeze Spinning around Tumbling down Tangled up like ghost nets in the sea Dragging our darkness around Ducking and weaving Like mugs in the ring Got no idea how it goes Dipping and wheeling Like gulls in the wind New shoots all covered in snow Tangled up like plastic bags in the trees Hanging around We slowly break down All tangled up like an old bunch of keys The doors they once fit can’t be found Now the wind blows cold And the dark clouds roll And my hands Are made Of lead And I can’t get you out of my head Cleaning the ashtrays and Stealing the loose change Eating the scraps off the bone You were so pretty and I was so broken I would have sunk like a stone. Tangle up in four seasons of love Spinning around Tumbling down Tangled up like the hawks and the doves Tangled up like car full of clowns

Tell me that you love me One more time Tell me that you love me One more time One more time Shielding your eyes from the sun Nobody taught you to run Kicking the hours away Big ships at rest in the bay We know the storm’s gonna come Hearing the thunder roll On and on and on On and on and on Deep water starts heaving I know that you’re leaving but Tell me that you love me One more time Tell me that you love me One more time One more time Black water shines in the night In the deep there’s the old endless fight Turning tide calls all women and men Big ships are moving again I know that soon you’ll be gone Watching the traffic roll on and on and on on and on and on Big screws start turning The deep water’s churning and Tell me, that you love me One more time Tell me, that you love me One more time One more time One more time Tell me that you love me I’ll light up like a carnival sign If you tell me that you love me One more time Tell me that you love me I know you can never be mine But tell me, that you love me One more time So tell me, that you love me
